HKBU researchers meets CR Pharmaceutical Group representatives for health innovation exchange

The Institute for Innovation, Translation and Policy Research (ITPR) organised a meeting between HKBU researchers and representatives from the China Resources Pharmaceutical Group on June 7, 2023, to discuss drug discovery and health solutions.

During the meeting, Prof. Zhang Ge, Associate Dean (Research), School of Chinese Medicine (SCM) of HKBU, shared the latest research and development initiatives of the SCM. HKBU researchers, including Prof Min Li, Associate Dean (Teaching & Learning) of SCM; Prof. Hongjie Zhang, Director and Professor of Chinese Medicine - Teaching and Research Division of SCM; Prof Han Quanbin, Professor of SCM; Dr Yu Yuanyuan, Assistant Professor of Teaching and Research Division of SCM; and Dr Ren Kangning, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry, presented their latest health and medical research projects.

Mr Chen Bo, CSO and Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Commission of China Resources Pharmaceutical Group, expressed appreciation for the University’s efforts in creating solutions for human health. Mr Chen also shared information about the company's recent innovation research and development efforts.

Sharing a common belief in creating a positive impact on society, both parties are looking forward to more idea exchange and collaboration in the future.
